(Day 1): Turin art-culture and beauties
Welcome to Turin, the first capital of the modern Italy. After a private transfer to your hotel located in the real center, you meet your guide with whom you discover the elegant squares and beautiful streets that lead to the Mole Antonelliana, the architectural symbol of Turin. Inside the Mole, enjoy the amazing visit of the cinema museum, an itinerary that is organized vertically on various level. Take the panoramic lift for a unique bird’s–eye view of the city. In the afternoon you will visit an exceptional treasure of Egyptian artifacts, tombs, statues, papyri, sarcophagi and mummies. This is the only museum other than the Cairo Museum that is dedicated solely to Egyptian art and culture.In the evening you have your dinner in one the most exclusive restaurant of the city where you will be enchanted by both surrounding decorations and delicious dishes.
(Day 2) Turin the Royal countryside
The sweet aroma of coffee and small pastries will delight your palate at breakfast. This new day starts with the visit of the well preserved Venaria Reale Palace a natural and architectural masterpiece that was declared part of the World Heritage by UNESCO, that boasts some of the finest examples of universal Baroque. This represents a great journey through Italy and its glorious historical and natural heritage to celebrate regality and the pleasure of living. You also have the opportunity to contemplate La Reggia’ gardens, an extraordinary balance between the archeological remains and the contemporary artworks. Back to Turin, you will learn more about the modern Italian history visiting the first Italian parliament. In the evening enjoy a “happy hour” aperitif and taste the traditional specialties such as Bagna Cauda in a historic restaurant of the XIII century.
(Day 3) Masterpieces of Genoa and Portofino
This morning you will reach Genoa, the hometown of Cristoforo Colombo. The city has been nicknamed la Superba (“the Proud one”) due to its glorious past and impressive landmarks. See the mercantile heart of the old town, the area of the modern port, experience some charming attractions such as one of the biggest aquarium visited in Europe and Palace Rolli a Unesco World Heritage. Half an hour away, you will be accompanied to discovery an indescribable pearl of the Mediterranean, the magic Portofino, an ancient village overlooking a sea of a rare beauty. Enjoy a moment of total relax contemplating the exceptional landscape before reaching your luxury hotel.
(Day 4) The splendor of Cinque Terre
Rooted in the antiquity, the protect natural environment of the “five villages” will seduce you along a beautifully and isolated six-mile stretch of coast. In this enchanting part of Italy, characterized by a traffic free charm, consequence of a natural isolation, you will discover a mix of Italian nature and culture. Starting from Riomaggiore you will walk trough “via dell’amore” (the street of love) a path carved into the mountain that allows visitors to hear the sound of waves breaking on the rocks. Enigmatic and mysterious alleys, hidden by small and pretty multicolored cottages will make you immerse in the glorious past of a seafaring tradition, which has seen come through here important commanders and sailors. You will finish your tour in Monterosso where you will visit the old town and spend un unforgettable moment on its beautiful beach.
(Day 5) Shopping at the biggest Italian designer – Arrival in Milan
On the road to Milan, you will spend a pleasant break visiting a great designer outlet. Enjoy the moment and take the opportunity to shop luxury brands saving from 30% to 70% compared to the retailers store. After your check in at the hotel in Milan, visit the Duomo, symbol of the city, its antique culture and a true expression of the energy of this land. Close to the cathedral you can admire the Majestic Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II that is not only one of the world’s oldest shopping malls but also an architectural masterpiece made of two glass-vaulted arcades intersecting in an octagon covering the street connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Scala. In the evening enjoy the Navigli area, famous for its vibrant energy and plenty of restaurants, pubs and discoteques.
(Day 6) Past and present
Buongiorno Milano!!! Together with your private guide, today you will visit the Sforza court where different architects and designers such as Leonardo da Vinci have been involved with and enthralled by the castle and its defensive architecture. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of Ducal Rooms and the Room of Wooden Boards. Take a walk at “quadrilatero della moda” the “fashion square”, considered to be the most important fashion district in the world. In the evening you are invited at “la Scala” which is regarded as one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world. Here you can visit its rich museum and see a unique performance at the theatre.
(Day 7) Milan-departure
Your final morning in the city finds you at the delightful breakfast before your private transfer escorts you to the airport. You have discovered a fascinating part of Italy, appreciated its richness in art, culture and wonderful landscape. It has been a dream travel. Arrivederci Italia!
