Early in the morning, your private driver will escort you from your hotel to Normandy landings, so called because of landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. Upon your arrival in Normandy, you will discover the famous Memorial Pegasus which is dedicated to the men of 6th British Airborne Division, “the Red Berets”.
Enjoy your visit of Arromanches. It is in this village that the first museum was built in commemoration of June 6th 1944 and the Normandy Campaign: to get close to the beach and see the scene with the big floating ports will give you goosebumps. The D-day Museum overlooks the very spot where one of the Mulberry Harbours was constructed and where its remains can still be seen today, just a few hundred meters from the shore. You will reach then the German coastal battery artillery in Longues sur Mer where between the fortresses, the Germans constructed coastal artillery batteries, under the control of either the army or the navy. Spaced several kilometers apart, they were designed to fire out to sea and ward off any invasion fleet.
After lunch in typical Norman restaurant (at your convenience) you will visit the moving American cemetery of St. Laurent and the visually spectacular Pont du Hoc.
(Day 2): The breathtaking combination: Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo
This morning, after a tasting French breakfast, you will be accompanied at Mont-Saint-Michel, a unique place that has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1979. Constrained by the pyramidal shape of the Mount, its medieval builders wrapped the buildings around the granite rock. Its ramparts and fortifications resisted all the assaults and as a result the Mount became a symbol of national identity. Experience with your private city guide the splendor of the abbey that the people of the Middle Ages regarded as a representation of the heavenly Jerusalem on earth, an image of Paradise. In the afternoon you will reach Saint Malo. With a skyline dominated by the spiky tower of medieval Cathédrale St-Vincent, the city is the prettiest of the Channel ports and a great gourmet destination. Enjoy the visit before getting a relaxing massage at the spa of your luxury hotel.

As far back as the roman conquest a small urban center settled round a port opened to the Mediterranean world, downstream from the actual town. You will visit the Breton and Fine Art museums, the Cathedral and downtown. Discover the old town and the Koreon street where the scent of croissants coming out from pastry shops will delight you.
