(Day 1): Taormina

Ciao Sicilia

(Day 2) Catania-Etna

After a breakfast overlooking the sea, you will visit Catania and its Central piazza, This is an Unesco World Heritage Site, a place surrounded by buildings in a unique local baroque style and crowned by the grand Cattedrale di Sant’Agata. Few meters away, the famous fish market is a vibrant place, a deep insight into the lives of the Sicilians.In the afternoon, you will enjoy an exceptional walk. Together with your private guide, you will hike the Etna mountain, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, almost in constant state of activity where you will experience a surrealistic show. Here you can ski in winter, hike in every other season, go horse riding and taste some of the wine that is produced on the slopes of the mountain. You can also choose to reach the main crater at 2900 m by cable car.

(Day 3) Syracuse

Syracuse and its historical heart called Ortigia, was once occupied by the Greek colonists. They built fortifications and other structures, some of which still exist today. The temples of Apollo and Athena are two notable examples. For a deeper look into the past, you can visit the well preserved catacombs of St.John that represent the largest underground graveyard in Syracuse, used from the III to V century A.D.  Enjoy a break in a suggestive luxury spa for a moment of relax before discovering the rest of the artistic and cultural heritage. In the evening you have plenty of choice for savoring the local specialties and enjoy the lively streets of the downtown.

(Day 4) Noto- Ragusa

Noto is a small baroque jewel perched on a plateau overlooking the valley Asinaro, famous for its citrus. The city is built as if it were a set design, studying and making up the perspective in a unique way, playing with the lines and curves of the facades with decorations shelves, curls and spirals.In this small village, every corner, street and church arouses unique feelings of the past.

In Ragusa, that many defined a live nativity scene, you will spend your afternoon with a local chef that will be pleased to teach you the secrets of some of the best Italian dishes.

(Day 5) Agrigento

Agrigento has an extensive coastline that captures the essence of beauty and nature and leaves those who visit amazed. Combined with great weather, and rich history, you can admire spectacular beaches that offer fun activities such as sailing, windsurfing,surfing, canoeing and snorkeling. Moreover The Valley of the Temples, a series of temples, cemeteries, and tombs, is a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage Site, dates back to 500 BC.

(Day 6) Erice- San Vito Locapo

Wonderful synthesis of art, history and landscape, the town of Erice preserved virtually intact its medieval center, perfectly integrated with the morphology of the mountain and harmoniously blended with the wonderful natural surroundings. Few minutes away by car, you will reach San Vito Lo Capo famous for having a breath-taking panorama and one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. Along the road it is possible to see numerous dazzlingly white mountains shimmering in the sun. These are not snow-capped mountains but hills of salt, one of the Sicilian economy’s historical resources. The visit of salt flats will also highlights rare breeds of birds and an amazing flora typical of the area. Under the stars, in a magical atmosphere surrounded by an unique natural landscape, you will have a romantic dinner on a private boat, a magic experience at sunset.

(Day 7) Palermo

The best way to start a new day in Palermo is to eat a Setteveli (seven-layer chocolate-hazelnut cake) in the most famous bakery in Palermo.Together with your private guide, you will enter the busy port and attractive medieval quarter, along with the ‘newer’ section of the city, where much of the grand architecture dates from the 17th century. The capital of Sicily is decorating with striking cathedrals, glittering palaces and lovely Baroque buildings on its network of haphazard streets. In the evening enjoy a classic music concert or a ballet at Massimo theater, made of golden stuccoes, wooden decorations, velvet and glass.

(Day 8) Palermo

This second day in Palermo starts with an exciting helicopter tour in order to fully admire the spectacular panorama that the protected natural sites still offer. Before leaving the city, you will have time to enjoy the most exclusive shopping area in downtown and take last picture of the greatful Pretoria fountain.

(Day 9) Cefalu

The charming Cefalu is part of the exclusive club which groups the most beautiful Italian villages. After visiting the Duomo and la Rocca hill, you can relax on the beach, dive in the clear sea and taste a delicious fresh fish in one of the most traditional and authentic restaurants of the coast.

(Day 10) Catania-Return flight
