(Day 1) Pearl of the Mediterranean -Taormina, Sicily
With its pristine underwater world, an exceptional cultural heritage and a renowned gastronomy, Sicily is the perfect destination for all lovers of “Dolce vita” (the sweet life). At the heart of these magnificent land, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, historical articrafts and beautiful buildings, discover the island’s unique Mediterranean coastline.
A private car will take you from the airport to your hotel located on a rocky promontory high above the sea. Pearl of the Mediterranean Taormina will enchants you with its magnificently restored mediaeval buildings, exceptional views around every corner and an amazing network of winding streets strewn with typical shops, cozy bars and great restaurants. (Day 2) Catania-Etna
After a breakfast overlooking the sea, you will visit Catania and its Central piazza, This is an Unesco World Heritage Site, a place surrounded by buildings in a unique local baroque style and crowned by the grand Cattedrale di Sant’Agata. Few meters away, the famous fish market is a vibrant place, a deep insight into the lives of the Sicilians.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy an exceptional walk. Together with your private guide, you will hike the Etna mountain, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, almost in constant state of activity where you will experience a surrealistic show. Here you can ski in winter, hike in every other season, go horse riding and taste some of the wine that is produced on the slopes of the mountain. You can also choose to reach the main crater at 2900 m by cable car.
(Day 3) Syracuse and Noto
The Greek colonists once occupied Syracuse and its historical heart called Ortigia. They built fortifications and other structures, some of which still exist today. The temples of Apollo and Athena are two notable examples. For a deeper look into the past, you can visit the well preserved catacombs of St.John that represent the largest underground graveyard in Syracuse, used from the III to V century A.D You will take a break in a suggestive luxury spa for a moment of relax.
In the evening you have plenty of choice for savoring the local specialties and enjoy the lively streets of the downtown. Noto is a small baroque jewel perched on a plateau overlooking the valley Asinaro, famous for its citrus. The city is built as if it were a set design, studying and making up the perspective in a unique way, playing with the lines and curves of the facades with decorations shelves, curls and spirals.In this small village, every corner, street and church arouses unique feelings of the past.
(Day 4) The vibrant Milan
This morning you will fly to Milan for discovering the Italian economic heart.
On the road to Milan center, you will visit a great designer outlet where you have the opportunity to shop luxury brands saving from 30% to 70% compared to the retailer’s store.
After your check in at the hotel in Milan, visit The Duomo, symbol of the city, its antique culture and a true expression of the energy of this land. Close to the cathedral you can admire the Majestic Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II that is not only one of the world’s oldest shopping malls but also an architectural masterpiece made of two glass-vaulted arcades intersecting in an octagon covering the street connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Scala. In the evening enjoy the Navigli area famous for its vibrant energy and plenty of restaurants, pubs and discoteques.
( Day 5) Discovering Milan’s treasures
Buongiorno Milano!!! Together with your private guide, today you will visit the Sforza court where different architects and designers such as Leonardo da Vinci have been involved with and enthralled by the castle and its defensive architecture. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of Ducal Rooms and the Room of Wooden Boards. Visit the “quadrilatero” della moda the “fashion square”, considered by to be the most important fashion district in the world. In the evening you are invited at “la Scala” which is regarded as one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world. Here you can visit its rich museum and see a unique performance at the theatre.
(Day 6) Romantic Paris tour
In few hours you will be escorted to the airport for your next destination: Paris
Your personal driver will take you for a panoramic tour of Paris. You will get to see the Champs-Elysées avenue, the Arc of Triomphe, Tuileries district and the Seine bank. After this first glimpse of PARIS, it is from the top of the Eiffel tower that we invite you to an exceptional experience. Built on the Champ de Mars in the 7th district, the Iron Lady overlooks the capital city. From the upper floors, accessible from lifts, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the booming city. (Day 7) Arts and culture in Paris
After a delicious breakfast, immerse yourself in the beauties of the world’s most visited museum: Le Lovre. (Day 8) Marais neighborhoods-Return flight
Bonjour… In the morning, the streets of Paris come to vibrant life You still have few hours to visit Marais, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the capital. Witness to the traces of our past and French history, it has seen its population change and evolve throughout the centuries. From the royal court of Louis XIV to the gay community, passing by the Jewish Ashkenazi population, the “Old Paris” still possesses a young and dynamic soul that still entices visitors. Made up of the 3rd and 4th arrondissements, there you’ll find the most beautiful monuments in the capital, including a certain few that are listed as historical monuments or are part of UNESCO’s global heritage sites.
